24 and twenty-fine

It’s officially a new year for me and the past few days I have been celebrating with my friends and family in the best way. ⠀ ⠀ Wine tasting ⠀ Hiking ⠀ Pizza ⠀ Massages and movies ⠀ The perfect fall weather ⠀ ⠀ (Most importantly) I got to spend time with my parents, my little brother, my future family in law, and my closest friends. ⠀ ⠀ 24 feels like an age of letting go of the BS and being more protective of my time. ⠀ ⠀ It feels like an age of: ⠀ • Making more time for those who invest and me, and making less time for those who don’t. ⠀ • Putting myself in situations, relationships, and places that make me feel alive and loved. ⠀ • Cherishing time with my family. ⠀ • Loving the season of life I’m in — and appreciating being in my 20s in the city, as an aspiring author and CEO. ⠀ • Not taking the crap jobs anymore. ⠀ • Being too busy with amazing things to have time for the BS. ⠀ • Letting go of nagging insecurities, anxiety, and that of which is out of my control. ⠀ • Knowing that I don’t have to believe and think the same way as those around me, and I have just as much of a right to use my voice. ⠀ ⠀ It’s time to level up and I am so excited for the upcoming year and opportunities. ⠀ ⠀ Thank you for all of the love, and I am so honored to be going through these experiences with you. ⠀ ⠀ If you have any advice for me on being 24 or how to be an adulty adult please share in the comments below or DM me!
