It is 2019, There is NO TIME For MEAN GIRLS. ⠀

Alright, this is a little scary for me to talk about, but I have to just delve into this for a minute. ⠀ ⠀ I was bullied FAR MORE by girls than boys growing up, and you know what, those girls turned into women and things don’t always change. ⠀ ⠀

In my ADULT life, I experience: ⠀ • Gossiping ⠀ ⠀ • Competitiveness ⠀ ⠀ • Cliques ⠀ ⠀ • Sabotage ⠀ ⠀ Adult women leaving each other out, hurting each other’s feelings, stealing boyfriends, corrupting each other’s home and work environments, and making each other feel unloved and disrespected. ⠀ ⠀ It is time to STOP THIS. ⠀ ⠀ • Leaving people out doesn’t make you exclusive. ⠀ ⠀ • Gossiping about someone’s choices doesn’t make you in the right. ⠀ ⠀ • Making her miserable at work isn’t going to launch your career. ⠀ ⠀ All of us have to step away from this “fend for yourself” mentality that we’ve been trained to adapt to by the media. ⠀ ⠀ We also have to stop believing that just because one woman is winning, everyone else is losing. ⠀ ⠀ Just because you think she’s beautiful and seems to have the “perfect hair” (or whatever it is) doesn’t mean that you’re not JUST as beautiful. ⠀ ⠀ Just because her outfit looks bomb AF doesn’t mean you look like a slob. ⠀ ⠀ Just because she got a promotion doesn’t mean that you’re going to be stuck in the same position forever. ⠀ ⠀ One woman’s success does NOT MEAN YOUR SHORT COMING! ⠀ ⠀ Stop wishing you had her life, because the more time you waste wishing, the more time you lose out on creating a life that YOU love. ⠀ ⠀ I, for one, would so much rather love another woman and support her than feel threatened by her. ⠀
