Keep Scrolling to See my Work Attire from Four Years Ago. 😅😳

I know I talk about clothes a lot on here, but I truly think in this case, and in many others, they are a direct reflection of my growth and accomplishments in my life. ⠀ ⠀ My style has always meant a lot to me, and it’s never been about the expense or designer, but more so the meaning and the personality behind the outfits. ⠀ ⠀ Back then, I was told to wear all black and this outfit is literally what I CHOSE to wear to work. A sweater, leggings, and glitter UGG boots — and no one told me otherwise. 🤷‍♀️ ⠀

As I worked through the position I quickly saw for myself what actual professional attire was, and how much your clothing can make or break a sale — but it was something I had to learn and practice. ⠀ ⠀ During this learning curve I was pulling inspiration from figures like Olivia Pope, Kate Middleton, and Jackie O — trying to transform my look to reflect a more professional, elegant approach. ⠀ ⠀ This change shifted everything. I was suddenly taken a little more seriously at work, people stopped asking about my age, and I started feeling more confident in my knowledge and skills. ⠀ ⠀ I finally felt like my style matched my brain. ⠀ ⠀ As my personal brand has evolved I feel like my style — clothing, home, website, etc — all reflect my lifestyle and values. ⠀ ⠀ Class, sophistication, and comfort. ⠀ ⠀ This was one of many important steps towards becoming a Future Boss Lady, and in the book I walk through an entire section about how to discover your own, unique style and implementing it into your life. ⠀ ⠀ I even have a style quiz and exercise! ⠀ ⠀ To check it out see the book on Amazon or get the digital copy here!
