My workouts are essential to my Boss Lady journey. Here’s why 👇⠀

It clears my mind. ⠀

When I workout I feel my mind relax and clear because I go into task/survival mode. I’ll I’m thinking about are the reps, the burn, and breathing. Which can do wonders after a long day. ⠀

It makes me feel hot AF. ⠀

No shame, I check myself out in the mirror, and when I’m mid weight lift and my muscles are bulging, I think “damn, I look good”. Which I think is very healthy and important for self love. ⠀

It makes me feel secure.⠀

When I feel strong, I feel like I can handle myself out in the world. I feel more confident, I feel more capable, and I feel like I can hold my own. ⠀

Incorporating physical fitness into your schedule is purely about self care and love. All it can do is make you feel good. 🙌 ⠀

Here are a few of my go-to workouts: ⠀

• Barre ⠀

A ballet-style workout that isolates muscle groups. 🩰⠀

• HITT (High Intensity Interval Training) ⠀

Mixing cardio and strength for a well-rounded full body workout. 🚴‍♀️⠀

• Weights ⠀

Lifting weights and targeting muscle groups. 🏋️‍♀️⠀

• Hiking ⠀

I love getting outside! 🧗‍♀️

• Yoga ⠀

A mix of strength training and intense stretching. Also a mind, body, spirit practice. 🧘‍♀️⠀

• Plyometrics⠀

Using your own body weight to do exercises like jumping, lunges, burpees, etc. 🤸‍♀️
