THANK YOU! For being: ⠀ ⠀ • On time ⠀ • There for me ⠀ • A great listener ⠀ • My friend ⠀ • Patient ⠀ • Forgiving ⠀ • Thoughtful⠀ ⠀ When was the last time you thanked someone you love for any of these things? ⠀ ⠀ You literally can never express too much gratitude for anything or to anyone, whether it be in-person, through a text, or a gift. ⠀ ⠀ As thank you notes are my favorite way to express my gratitude, I have created a guide on how to write one: ⠀ ⠀ 1. Intro: address who you are writing to. ⠀ ⠀ 2. The “Thank You”: this is when you acknowledge whatever you are thanking them for. (People’s time, energy, and thoughtfulness no matter the form is worthy of commemoration.) ⠀ ⠀ 3. The Personal Touch: throw in some details regarding how they affected you. ⠀ ⠀ Boss Lady Extras: ⠀ • Add printed photos from the event in your card. ⠀ • Mention other times they were thoughtful and how much you appreciate them. ⠀ • Personalized doodles and drawings. ⠀ ⠀ 4. Sign Off: after gushing a bit, sign off in a warm way to leave them feeling happy. ⠀ ⠀ This may be a small gesture, but it’s done to let someone know that you care, and that they are important — which is not something that should be taken lightly. ⠀ ⠀ Tag someone below the you would like to thank just for being themselves. #FBL ⠀ ⠀ To see more content like this, and the full gratitude guide, check out the Future Boss Lady book on Amazon, or visit the website to get the first 10 pages for FREE!
