This is how my day started but I guess it was kind of symbolic (?) 🤔 ⠀

On this day we had a staff appreciation day at a spa in Scottsdale. Hands down the nicest place I have EVER been in, so it was amazing obviously, but it was also one of the most rejuvenating, enriching experiences I’ve had in a while. ⠀ ⠀ The spa is Moroccan themed, and you start your day by picking a stone and placing it in a wishing well-type thing. Each stone representing an intention for the day. ⠀ ⠀ My stone was adventure, career steadiness, and protection. Which, I’m not always into that kind of stuff, but this really resonated with me at a time where I feel kind of lost and vulnerable.⠀ ⠀ Then you go through and there’s a stress reliving stone that you put your hands on and above it is a painted dome ceiling stars. Again, I’m not really into that kind of stuff, but in the moment I felt a sense of relief wash over me that made me feel like I was going to cry. ⠀ ⠀ From there it was a day of steam rooms, mimosas, and girl time, but I also got a chance to dive into the book Girl on Fire. Which just fueled my soul and made me feel so uplifted — and coincidently as I was furiously reading I was getting my toes painted a color called “We the Female” by OPI. 😂 ⠀ ⠀ I think the beginning of this day was so symbolic because I was running to the coffee shop to⠀ meet the team and I got completely drenched, (no one else did, mind you). In a way I feel like this washed away a lot of my stress and worries, and prepared me for a day of being fueled after a year of feeling so drained. ⠀ ⠀ I am currently holding on to this refueled energy with dear life to ride out 2019, and if any of you have a chance to take a day to focus on yourself in a truly peaceful, mindful way, I absolutely recommend it. ⠀ ⠀ What are some things you guys do to fuel your soul? Please share!
