Update: Still in Love

The past few days have been a bit of a whirlwind, and it’s only about to get busier as we approach Phoenix, but I have some time — as I sit in the back of the car — to gush a little. ⠀ ⠀ Jared and I spent the Fourth of July with my family in Cottonwood, and then we turned around and carpooled with Jared’s brother and his wife to San Diego for a family funeral for an overnight trip, and then we are driving back home for work tomorrow, and I leave for bridal market in Mexico on Monday. ⠀ ⠀ For one. Jared spent his Fourth of July spending time with my family, helping my mom cook and clean, and hanging out with my brothers, all while he was grieving, working, and trying to plan a very last minute trip to California. ⠀ ⠀ Then we get to San Diego and I was so touched by how accepting and kind all of his family was to me. People I have never met before made me feel so loved, and cared for, and spending time with them fueled my soul in a way I never thought was possible outside of my own family. ⠀ ⠀ Yes, the next few days are going to be crazy busy, and there’s been a ton going on, but I just want to take a minute to appreciate the time I got to spend with so many different people in such a short amount of time. ⠀ ⠀ I also just want to say that I love this man with my whole heart. ❤️
