I recently took the enneagram test (yes I’m obsessed), and it really made me more aware of my natural tendencies and behavior. ⠀ ⠀ As a 9 I act more of a peacemaker which is something I experience in many, if not all of my relationships. I hate conflict, and I will go out of my way for the comfort of others. I also love being outside, away from people, and I feel the most free when I’m alone or with small groups. ⠀ ⠀ Here’s where I present the Anna that loves hiking, traveling, water play, and comfy workout clothes. ⠀ ⠀ In the test, just two points under peacemaker, I tied for 6 - loyalist, and 3 - achiever. ⠀ ⠀ As a 6 and a loyalist I experience this trait in my jobs, and home life. I crave consistency, order, and reliability. When I was a gymnast, I dedicated 10 years to one sport without ever taking a break. Now as a professional I have chosen the wedding industry and I have consistently worked hard to grow within this one particular field. I make my work personal (which can be equally good and bad) but I can’t work without purpose. I have to love and connect with my surroundings and actions. ⠀ ⠀ Here’s where I present the Anna who stays organized, loves hosting events, has a tight knit group of friends, and stays dedicated to her dreams. ⠀ ⠀ Lastly, 3 - the achiever. I experience this within the motivation behind my actions. I need to know I’ve done something of value, and have done the job correctly. I crave measured success — whether it be in stats, finances, or recognition. This is the push that keeps my peacemaker and loyalist tendencies from holding me back, and adds a balance of calculation with the emotion.⠀ ⠀ Here I present the Anna who loves to work, wants to be her own boss, and is obsessed with checklists. ⠀ ⠀ I am a girl who can wear a blazer and heels one day, the same t-shirt and pair of leggings two days in a row, and a sparkly dress — all in the same week. 🤷♀️ ⠀ You don’t have to just be one way all the time. All the different parts of you are what make you that much more interesting and unique. ⠀ ⠀ Share your unique qualities in the comments!
