Who am I? ⠀ ⠀ I am your go-to girl when it comes to systems, having a routine, faking it till you make it, and staying organized. ⠀ ⠀ I can get ready for work in 30 min flat and look clean-cut and professional every single day. ⠀ ⠀ I have a morning routine that’s scheduled down to the minute — complete with breakfast, a podcast, and journaling. ⠀ ⠀ My apartment always gets cleaned on Sunday and Wednesday nights. ⠀ ⠀ My laundry is in a constant cycle and I always have fresh clothing for the week. ⠀ ⠀ I make sure to stay in touch with friends and family by calling at least one person every day. ⠀ ⠀ I’m just good at that kind of stuff. ⠀ ⠀ What I’m mulling over, is the idea that I’ve become so systemized during my college years and early adulthood, making sure I’m super on top of things, that I’ve kind of forgotten what I even like. ⠀ ⠀ I feel like I’m in this phase of being so dedicated to my work that there are very few hobbies and activities that interest me anymore. Or I just don’t have the energy to give as many things my full attention. ⠀ ⠀ My style for instance. I remember in high school I used to wear red heels, chunky jewelry, scarves, and funky hats. Now I have a filing system of black outfits for a closet. 🤷♀️ ⠀ ⠀ Not that it’s a bad thing, I think I’ve done exactly what I’ve had to in order to stay on track, in budget, and available to be multi passionate. It just got me thinking. ⠀ ⠀ In that spirit, I have some things that I know for sure I love: ⠀ ⠀ • Soft pink flowers of any kind. ⠀ ⠀ • Thai food. ⠀ ⠀ • Strong coffee, red wine, and whiskey straight. ⠀ ⠀ • Spending time with my niece and nephew. ⠀ ⠀ • A super sweaty, good workout. ⠀ ⠀ • Hanging out at Postinos. ⠀ ⠀ This time of year I know we are all so busy, but it was good for me to take a minute and just remind myself of what makes me unique. I would love to know what that is for you. ⠀ ⠀ Please share in the comments below at least one thing that you love!
